Why use a Wax Seal
With the advent of emails, fast comunications, IM’s we gradually lost a sense of concreteness in our work. Small design suppliers often get lost in a big brand’s address book because the name or the a small project itself often is not sufficient to be reminded even if the work has been excecuted magnificently.
A remedy to this is adding an ecletic visual and tactile input in a client’s mind. The use of a wax seal may sound a bit cheesy but the impact and the sure-to-be-remembered factor is unique. All for a modest price.
You can apply a wax seal on your estimates and envelopes to make your work stand out from the mass.
I personally use it with black or gold wax and the addition of other tactile elements like gloss embossed lettering and leather-like paper to give an unique experience to who views my works.
